i think you all know what this is.
REBLOGGING AGAIN
I will basically bawl my eyes out when I go to see this. Seriously. I basically bawled my eyes out after watching this trailer — can you imagine what kind of a mess I’ll be after I watch the final two? THE FINAL TWO!? That just seems so wrong… Harry Potter has been a part of my life since I was 9 years old. I read the books in order as they came out. I pre-ordered. I midnight viewed every movie that allowed it — and the first few that didn’t? I was there opening night, anyways. :)
Harry Potter for me, like so many others, is a huge, magnificent part of my life — my adolescence. I grew up with Harry Potter. We were the same age most of the time…and the actors? We were always the same age. Another thing about Harry Potter is that the movies have introduced me to a wide variety of fantastic actors that, if it weren’t for this franchise, I probably never would have known. That saddens me. Emma Watson is the strongest female child-star that I have ever seen. She grew into a woman effortlessly. Ruper Grint showed the world that being a ginger is pretty badass…and pretty sexy.
And Daniel Radcliffe? The first time I saw Daniel Radcliffe was on CNN the night they revealed who the golden trio were going to be played by. The three of them sitting there on the giant chair, just smiling away. I remember seeing him, Daniel — I turned around towards my Mom and just said, “Mommy, I’m going to marry that boy someday.” He was the cutest boy I had ever seen…and ten times more handsomer than George Clooney, so… My heart was set. And unlike my infatuation with Hanson or James Lafferty, my love for Daniel as a person… Not just as the boy who played the boy who lived — but the boy who was also Maps and Jack and ran around naked on-stage… has grown over the years. I hope to someday give Daniel Radcliffe a huge hug and just say “Thank you.” Whether he’s really the guy I see in the interviews for The Trevor Project and Harry Potter, or not, Daniel Radcliffe has given me hope that there are guys out there who could make you laugh, be adorable, and extremely passionate… <3
Thank you, J.K. Rowling…(even though you totally fucked up the series by not putting Harry/Hermione together…just saying.)
